This series valve is available as a pressure differential pilot actuated valve as
well as an Actuator driven valve
In the heating cycle the discharge gas is routed through the inside coil making it the condenser and the outside coil the evaporator. In the coiling cycle the discharge gas is routed through the outside coil making it the condenser and the inside coil the evaporator. This diagram is a typical heat pump configuration.
